The Verified Carbon Market Coalition (“VCM+ Coalition”) seeks to deliver 5 billion cumulative tons of CO2e reduced and removed between 2026 and 2035 based on modernized and trusted market systems. Working together, the VCM+ Coalition will coordinate, strengthen, and amplify those working to deliver the next generation of high-integrity, scaled carbon markets. ​
The VCM+ Coalition supports a vision for a verified carbon market that is equitable, transparent, and transformational. The VCM+ Coalition actions will result in a scaled market that drives rapid investment in nature-based climate solutions, a just energy transition, technological innovation, and local and Indigenous community development by 2035 and beyond.​
